Welcome to my website!

On this site you'll find interesting topics related to the Turkish Language and the Republic of Turkey.  Although the site is brand new and under construction, I intend to add very advanced sections on Turkish Grammar, basic vocabulary, and some links to my favorite sites about Turkey.  I hope you enjoy your visit!

Why Turkish?  Simply put, during my first visit to the country in 1992 I fell in love with the people, culture, and language of this wonderful nation.  I've spent a total of 5 years in the country since that time and my Turkish continues to improve with each visit.  Of course, it doesn't hurt that I've "married into the family!"

So again, why a site about Turkish?  As someone who's spent a lot of time learning the language I hope to share my knowledge with those who care to read and learn.  Hopefully at some point the lessons I post here will help someone, somewhere improve their language skills and maybe even make a connection with one of the many wonderful Turkish people of the world.

Iyi şanslar! (Good luck!)
